Meet Kayla Crugnale and Janet Kinasewich of Jan and Kayla in Cambridge
Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayla Crugnale and Janet Kinasewich.
Jan and Kayla both worked at the same real estate company when they decided to combine forces and become the “Jan and Kayla” team. Jan had been a real estate agent in Cambridge for over thirty years and had built a strong network of clients. Kayla had recently graduated from college and received her real estate license. She is highly skilled in real estate technology both in data collection and marketing.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
What we thought was true. We work well together as a team. We emphasize personal communication with our clients and share the duties of each transaction. When challenges arise, we strategize together and combine our creative skills to solve the problems.
What should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Jan and Kayla are a unique real estate team from Compass in Cambridge. We work with both buyers and sellers to sell residential real estate in the Cambridge area. We value strong face-to-face contact with our clients by elevating the most personal parts of the process and using technology to simplify the rest. An arm of our business is known as “downsizing” which focuses on those who want to move out of their homes into smaller spaces or retirement communities. We have put together a detailed package for these clients. The unique needs and priorities of each buyer and seller are top priorities for us.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
We were flattered to be selected to market and sell a single-family home in Cambridge where several of the top brokers in town had hoped to secure the listing. It was our teamwork that won the day. The seller knew that he could depend on one or both of us to be available as needed, that we would be discreet in our dealings with the community, and that we would secure the best price possible for the property. It was a wonderful success story.
