How quickly does closing happen?

As quickly as possible if you’re a cash buyer but for the rest of us 45-60 days is what you can count on. We’ve been in a market where sellers have “preferred” closing days which usually is met but for a mortgage, banks need at least 6-8 weeks for the underwriting process. A lot will need to be done before you get to the closing table so you’ll want to be sure everyone involved has enough time to be staying on track for that closing date.
